From pattern to carton.
The reference pair
A tech pack, a sketch, or just a pair you love. We note what must stay and what must change.
The pattern
We draft the pattern, then grade it across your full size range. Every size is checked flat before cutting.
The sample
A first pair, sewn the way it will be in production. You try it on, we correct rise, thigh and length.
Cutting
Marker, spreading and cutting size by size. Fabric consumption is fixed before we start, so the price doesn't move.
Sewing
A line set up for trousers: waistband, fly, pockets and hems each have their own station and template.
Checking
Measurements on every size, piece-by-piece visual check, crease pressing, folding and packing to your instructions.
Men's and women's.
Men's trousers come down to rise and how the crease holds. Women's trousers and skirts come down to the hips and the drape. We know both.
Questions we get asked.
What is your speciality?
Bottoms, for men and women: trousers, skirts, shorts and bermudas. Specialising is what lets us make them better: our templates, machine settings and teams are built around them.
What is cut-make-trim?
It is our speciality. You send us your fabric and trims, we handle the rest: pattern, grading, sample, cutting, sewing, finishing, inspection and packing.
What is your minimum order?
It depends on the style and fabric. Send us your quantities per size and colour and we'll tell you honestly what's possible.
Can you start from an existing pair?
Yes. We measure a reference pair, draft a pattern from it, then make a sample for you to approve before production.
Are you audited?
Yes. Kline Confection is SMETA audited (Sedex), the ethical and social audit standard European brands ask for. The report is available on request.
Do you grade patterns?
Yes, across your full size range, men's or women's, in EU, UK or US sizing.
Do you work with brands abroad?
Yes, mainly in Europe. Our workshop is in La Soukra, a few minutes from Tunis-Carthage airport. We work in French or English and ship with export paperwork.
